IPhone app doesn’t open.

Just purchased a new iPhone all my other apps are working except quickbooks. When I click on quick books it launches for a split second and just goes back to the iPhone Home Screen.

Deleted the app and restarted the phone already. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem on my new iphone se.  Went through the steps to delete the app and reload the app, didn't work.  Tried deleting the app rebooting the phone, then reinstalling the app, still same problem.  Called support and was told they do not support the app and did not have a number for anyone that does.  Worked fine on my old Iphone 8.  I loaded the app on another iphone 8, worked fine.  Is there anyone out there that can help?

It's good to know you've done some troubleshooting steps to isolate the unexpected behavior encountered when using the QuickBooks Online mobile app. 

 

There is a reported product investigation with iOS Unable to log in using the mobile app. No error it simply crashes in QuickBooks Online. I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, one of our customer care can check if this is the same issue you've encountered, and they can add your company details for further investigation.


In the meantime, we recommend using the web version while the issue is being worked on. Here's the link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/au/.

This is pretty disappointing since the tracking km feature isn’t working which is really important for my job… it’s why I pay for the subscription and also the receipt uploading function. Is there any new investigation into why it’s not working

There have been no reports of users being unable to use the mileage tracking and snap receipt features in the QuickBooks Mobile app at this time. We can perform some troubleshooting steps to make sure you can use both features.

 

We'll start by refreshing your apps data. This will remove all stored data in the app that prevents you from using the mileage tracking and the snap receipt feature.

 

In the QuickBooks Online app:

 

  1. Go to the Menu
  2. Select Help & Feedback
  3. Click Refresh Data
  4. Then select Refresh.

 

If the issue persists, you can check out this article and learn how to download the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

There's a reported product investigation regarding iOS snap receipt function in QuickBooks Online mobile app is missing for Australia region. For reference here's the Product Investigation number INV-89784: iOS snap receipt function in QBO mobile app is missing. And so far none for mileage tracking not working in the iPhone.

 

If you have done all the basic trouble shooting steps provided and still having issues with using the mobile app. I would recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, one of our care agents can take a look of the issue encountered in a secure form and escalate the issue to the product engineers.

 

Here's how to contact support:

 

  1. Select Help (?).
  2. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us:
    Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat M-F, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and S-S, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, AEDT.
    Call us. M-F, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, AEDT.

I can’t get my quickbooks icon to open on my IPad. It was working fine until yesterday? I have tried contacting with advice in the replies on here. Thanks

I've checked my resources and found out that there is an ongoing investigation into the issue. Rest assured, our engineers are actively working on implementing a solution to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

 

If you haven't already, consider contacting our QuickBooks Customer Care. They can assist you in adding your name to the list of affected users and provide you with updates once a solution becomes available.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click on Help in the upper-right-hand corner.
  2. Choose the Search tab and then Contact Us at the bottom.
  3. Enter a sentence or two to describe the issue and click Continue.
  4. Choose a way to connect with the team:
  • Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat M-F, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and S-S, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, AEDT.

I also cannot access QBO from my iPhone 12. This started over the weekend. The Intuit title / logon screen loads but the app never progress beyond that point. 

have tried restarts of phone, modem, and reloading app. No success.
