Restoring data/invoices after QB online update

Hi,

I use quickbooks Online on my mobile to do customer invoices. I updated the app on my phone and now there is no invoices, no customers no data from before..

Im freaking out as Ive lost heaps of data and history

I looked it up and cant find the FILE MENU, OPEN or restore company (instructions how to restore)??

Thank you for bringing your problem to our attention on the Community page. I'm here to make sure you can get back to work and launch the app without incident.

 

The cache data kept on your device has an impact on the app's performance. I recommend removing it to isolate it since this helps reset the app. 

 

In the QuickBooks Online app:

 

  1. Go to the Menu ☰
  2. Select Help & Feedback
  3. Click Refresh Data
  4. Then select Refresh.

 

In your device Settings:

 

  1. Select Setting General iPhone Storage and choose an app that's taking up a lot of space.
  2. Click Offload App to free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app.

 

Reopen the application once you've finished. If you encounter the same error again, you can remove and reinstall the QuickBooks Online program. This allows you to re-establish the connection between your app and your phone. Here's how: 

 

  1. Uninstall the app.
  2. Open the App Store on your device and search for QuickBooks Online.
  3. Click Free and then Install.
  4. Sign in using the same user ID and password that you used when you signed up for QBO.

 

This is to ensure you get the most recent version of the application. To do so, refer to this page: QuickBooks Mobile App. In the meantime, you'll want to consider logging in to your QuickBooks Online account on a browser. This way, it will help us identify if it is a mobile app issue. From there, you can create and send invoices to your customers.
