Under Transactions unable to change type. Eg from Deposit to Transfer. No longer option under drop down. Using App only. Can do online. Possible app bug

Can I ask if you've done some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the behavior encountered? If not, I'd recommend doing the troubleshooting steps below:

 

  • Update the QuickBooks Online mobile app version
  • Log out from the QuickBooks Online mobile app
  • Uninstall and re-install the mobile app
  • Restart your mobile/device.

 

Furthermore, I can see there's a reported product investigation with QBO Australia iOS: No drop down to change transaction type when reviewing from the bank. I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, they can check your account and add to the investigation list.

 

In the meantime, continue using the web browser when categorising your bank feeds in Quickbooks Online.
