Add an accountant - Client with US and Canadian Quickbooks

How to you add an accountant that uses Canadian Quickbooks Online Accountant when you have a client with companies from different regions?  I can add the accountant for the Canadian companies.  When the US companies invite the accountant, there is a message that says that it is not supported.  Does the accountant need to have a US subscription?  The client can see all of their companies from differnt regions in their portal but they can only give the accountant access to some of them.

It's vital that the software you and your accountant have are compatible so that they can help you with your books. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you connect with your accountant virtually to give them access to your books. I can provide some information about Canadian QuickBooks Online Accountant accounts.

 

Canadian QuickBooks Online Accountant accounts can only accept invites coming from Canadian QuickBooks Online accounts,m so if you're sending it from a US-based account, or an account from another region, that would be why the invitation isn't able to be accepted. Your accountant would need to sign up for the QuickBooks Online Accountant version specific to your region in order for the invitation to work.
