Advance Bank Feeds for Canadian Desktop Version of Quickbooks is missing.

Finally finished the arduous task of switching my company from QBO to QBD Premier 2020. 

The only thing that didn't suck on QBO was the Advance Bank Feeds, where as the Quickbook Desktop Version, the only thing that did suck is the lack of Advance Bank Feeds. 

Advance bank feeds are available in the 2021 edition of the American Desktop Edition, but is not yet available in the Canadian Edition.  Any word or rumors on when the Canadian version of Quickbooks desktop will get Advance Bank Feeds?


I can't see why anybody would upgrade to the 2021 Canadian Version of QB's with this scrawny list of new features, unless Advance bank feeds are added.

    QuickBooks is designed to help you save time for the things you love. I'll be happy to share more info so you can get back to doing what you love. 

     

    I can see the importance of having the Advanced bank feeds on the Canadian version of QuickBooks. I encourage you to send feedback to our developers by clicking the Help menu and looking for Send Feedback Online. New product ideas and improvements are largely based on the feedback we get from users like you.

    I'm a little confused on the advance/improved Bank Feeds in the Canadian Edition of Quickbooks 2021

     

    When I downloaded the trial version of Quickbooks 2021 Canadian Edition, it had no improved Bank Feeds.

     

    However, a major retailer (SAASDirect) is advertising Improved Bank Feeds (ie. QBO style Bank Feed Features) at:

    Either the Free Trial of Quickbooks Premier 2021 was never updated, or SAASDirect is mispresenting your product.

      Thanks for bringing that to our attention. QuickBooks has many products, and sometimes the product varies by region. I can't comment on the particular product in the ad, but I can look into it further. I can share with you the "What's New" for the 2021 Canadian Desktop product.

      It sucks not to have advanced bank feeds in the Canadian desktop version even in the 2022 version.

       

      I find it very frustrating, that the Canadian version is not the same as the US ones. One understands the difference where regulation/tax laws dictate so. But for a common and very important feature like Bank Feeds, it is disappointing.

       

      Most of the learning material/videos are based on the US version. And for a Canadian user, it is annoying to see the features but to later find out that these features it’s "not for you".

       

      And then you realize, as a Canadian user, you have to figure out which video/learning material you can use because you are not part of your US counterparts.

        Please know that we would love to hear your requests or suggestions for QuickBooks Desktop banking. However, we can't provide the turnaround time if they will release additional banking preferences like those of the US versions. They work on product enhancements internally.

        Is there any chance that QBD 2021 will ever see an update that includes Advanced banking feeds?
