Trying to import an iif file for an invoice. I originally had some errors turn up in the file which I have resolved, now I just keep getting

"We weren't able to import now. Try again later."

Any idea what that means? Have tried multiple times, closed QB and reopened

Hello NM12,

Being able to import files of different types is a great way to make sure your information is entered into your books. Well done with the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far.

It can be tricky to troubleshoot IIF file types because they're created outside of QuickBooks Desktop. Because of that, we have to consider factors such as whether there's a problem with the program that produced the file and make sure that everything matches QuickBooks exactly. For instance, account names and other items must be an exact match.

I've got a couple of articles for you here about importing IIFs into QuickBooks Desktop, but I recommend reaching out to the support team of the program you used to produce the IIF files for your invoices as troubleshooting that file type is not something Intuit supports. Here are the articles I mentioned.

Have a great rest of your day!
