Auto populate Lot Numbers

Is there a way when entering an item on an order that the lot number assigned to that particular item auto populates into the lot number field? Currently, I have to manually select the lot number associated to that item.

The function you've described above isn't available in QuickBooks Desktop. I  can see the benefit of having this and I encourage you to send feedback about this to our engineers. You can do this by clicking on the Help menu and looking for Send Feedback Online. I also recommend looking into third-party apps on our site that can help you with this. You can search for these apps on our site desktop.apps.com. I suggest choosing an app that suits your business needs based on the app description and reviews.
