Automataic ppayroll

Good morning,

   I am trying to set up automatic payroll while I am gone for the next 3 weeks.  I had done this in 2019, while i was out of the office for 3 weeks.   The payroll ran each week without having to log in  to qb and employees were paid. 

 

I don't remember how I did it, and now when I enter the question, the only answer is for QB Online (with a statement that it isn't available in QB Desktop).  But it is!   I set it up in 2019.

I need to set it up again during my upcoming absence.

Thanks for reaching out here.  QuickBooks is a powerful program that enable you to get your work done faster.  I can see how beneficial it would be to automate payroll in your absence.  I'll be happy to provide more information here, so you're on the right track with your work!

 

At this time, a third party app would be needed to run payroll automatically.  If this is something you'd like to see available moving forward, you can submit a suggestion to our Development team by going to Help > Send feedback online.  In addition, you can review our QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy and upgrade information
