Balance sheet and US bank register in QBO do not match (QBO- multi currency - main currency is CAD and CAD bank is fine) what is the possible reason for this? The QBO register does balance with the bank register, only the amount displayed in the balance sheet does not. Haven't had that happen in the desktop version previously. Thanking you in advance

Hi Olgamv,

It's great to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online Multicurrency feature is a great way to properly track transactions for customers and suppliers, who use other currencies.  It's important that your reports are aligned with the associated accounts.  I'd be glad to assist!

When entering transactions, QuickBooks records the exchange rates based on the entry date.  However, debits and credits in your real-life bank may fall on different dates.  Therefore, the exchange rates may vary.  For this reason, you can Revalue your the exchange rates for multiple foreign currency transactions.  Here's how;

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Currencies

2. In the Action column, use the ▼ dropdown menu beside the currency you want to edit, and choose Revalue currency

3. Set a Revalue date

4. Choose your Rate as Market rate on revalue date, or enter a Custom rate

5. When ready, hit Revalue and save

Should you require additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.  It would be our pleasure to work with you directly, and ensure your balance sheet is aligned with your bank account as soon as possible!
