Beginning bank balance is off by $.50 because I deleted a transaction - how can I reverse the deleted transaction?

Once you delete a transaction in QuickBooks Online, there's no way to reverse it. However, you can refer to the Audit log to recover the details of the deleted transaction so you can re-enter it.

Here's how to use the Audit log to locate and re-enter deleted transaction(s):

1. Select Settings ⚙️.
2. Select Audit Log.
3. From the Filter ▼ drop-down menu, check off Transactions and choose Deleted/Voided Transactions from the Show drop-down
4. Select Apply.
5. Locate the deleted transaction. 
6. Under the History column, select View.
7. Click on the drop-right menu and all the information needed for the transaction can be found under the Event column.
8. Using the information from the Audit log, you can re-enter the transaction with its original transaction date.

The next step will be to mark the transaction as reconcile (R) to fix the beginning bank balance. Here's how to do that.

1. Select the Accounting menu, then select Chart of Accounts.
2. Find the account on the list.
3. Select View register or Account history to get more details.
4. From the Filter ▼ drop-down menu, enter the transaction amount or choose the appropriate date range.
5. Select Apply.
6. Locate your re-entered transaction. It should have a blank box in the checkmark column.
7. Select the box in the checkmark column. Keep selecting it until you see an R. Then select Save.
