By mistake set wrong date for initial bank transaction download. Have to download transactions before the date set. Don't like to do it manually - too many. Any help?

QB Online offers a powerful Banking feature which allows you to manage your transactions with ease. I'll be happy to help answer any questions and steer you in the right direction. 

Based on what you've described, you'll need to manually delete the bank download and re-upload again using the correct dates. Here's how: 

If the transactions are still showing in the For Review tab: 

1. In the left navigation tab, click on Banking.
2. In the For Review tab, select the transactions. 
3. Click on Batch actions and select Exclude Selected. 
4. In the Excluded tab, check the boxes for these transactions.
5. Click on Batch actions and select Delete.

If these transactions are already accepted/matched, here's how to remove them:

1. In the left navigation tab, click on Banking.
2. In the Reviewed tab, select the transactions. 
3. Click on Undo.
4. Go in the For Review tab, select the transactions again , click on Batch Actions > Exclude selected. 
5. In the Excluded tab, check the boxes for these transactions.
6. Click on Batch actions and select Delete.

There you go! You now know how to get rid of unwanted transactions in QuickBooks.
