can i change the start and end date for first pay period with a new company

If you are initially setting up payroll or haven't run payroll yet, we can change the pay period dates by going to the Pay Schedules section, Lee.

Here’s how you can adjust the dates:

1. Navigate the Payroll tab and select Employees.
2. Click Edit Payroll item.
   
3. Choose Pay schedules and click on it.
4. Click the Edit pencil icon.
   
5. Adjust the dates.
6. Click Save then Done.
   

However, if you're referring to the fiscal year, we can change it by heading to Accounts and Settings.
