Can I copy Purchase description to Sales Description?

I have imported a list of new inventory items but only set up the purchase description. I should have set up the sales description field as well. The information needs to be the same, so a straight copy from one field to another is perfect. 

Is there a tool to help with this? It's about 300 items.

I have a ODBC link if that helps. I can read the file, but can I write back from Excel?

Thanks for any help.
