Hi there lourdesgant,

It's vital for every business to keep records of their books in order to be able to analyze their transactions in the future. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to run and print various reports to be able to keep records of books as paper copies. I can provide some information on what happens after cancelling a QuickBooks Online account.

After cancelling a QuickBooks Online subscription, you'll have read-only access to your books for a year. This access allows you to view transactions, reports and data in the account in order to print paper copies of transactions and reports as well as be able to exports various lists and reports in files such as PDF and Excel files. While in this read-only mode you won't be able to add new transactions, however. During this year of read-only access, you'll still be able to resubscribe to be able to regain access to add and edit transactions and data in the account. One year after you've cancelled the account, the data will no longer be available. This information s outlined within this article about What happens to QuickBooks Online data after cancelling.

If you are within that one year window after cancelling, you can log into the account using the credentials you used to use to log in previously.
