Can I start a new business and keep all my old data

You can only purge your QBO account within 60-90 days after you open it for the first time. Otherwise, you may cancel your QBO account and resubscribe it once for every 12 months until you don't need it any longer. For your new business, you should open a new blank QBO account.

If you'd like to start fresh with a new QuickBooks Online account you can review our Products and Pricing here.  Once you've set up your new account, you can import data from the previous account to save valuable time.  With regards to cancelling your current account, please be advised that you won't be able to add new information once the account has been cancelled.  However, you'll continue to have access to the data for one year after the cancellation date if you need to export information to be imported into the new account.
