Can't access employee section today. sometimes get an error message '502 bad gateway'.

We've received some reports about this error too, Cartytree.

 

Our engineers had already fixed this issue. This error is caused by a server on your internet that received an invalid response from another server.

 

To resolve this, we can do a few troubleshooting steps.

 

Let's start accessing your Employee tab through a private or incognito window. This type of browsing helps us load the page lighter since it will not record any data.

 

Here's how to use this:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If it works, you can go back to your regular browser and then clear it's cache. Once this cache are piled up, it will cause an unusual program behavior.

 

You can also use a different supported browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. Sometimes our browser can be the reason why we have challenges doing our work inside QuickBooks.
