Can the description be edited in a bank transaction in the banking tab?

I can see how being able to change the description of the descriptions in the Banking tab would be useful when organizing and working through your transactions. I'd be happy to go over this with you so that you can see the way the banking transaction added or matched from the feed in QuickBooks Online can be manipulated.

When a transaction comes into the bank feed, it'll use whatever description your bank has assigned it. To learn more about how your bank names these kinds of transactions or attributes their descriptions, I recommend speaking with your bank.

Once in your For review tab, you can select a transaction to make changes, including to the Memo field. Depending on the kind of transaction, this change may stay only in a memo field, or you might see it attributed to the line item description field instead. You can give it a shot to see how it works out. Keep in mind, you can always edit the transaction afterward by reopening it and making the changes you'd like.
