Can we do Non profit Organization Donors receipts for individual donor in QB?

We are a non-profit organization and now donor needs to get receipt from financial department.

Can we use QB information (cash donation) to issue doror cash receipts from QB print?

Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Desktop is a great tool able to help keep your books balanced. I can provide some information about cash donations. 

 

At this time, this isn't a feature that is available in QuickBooks Desktop. I can see how this would be beneficial for you and your company. I encourage you to leave feedback, which can be done by going to the Help menu and choosing Send Feedback Online. We're always looking for ways to improve! These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new features and updates for QuickBooks.

Do any of your software products incorporate the printing of receipts for donations to non-profit charities?

Hi David1144,

 

Our QuickBooks Online software has the versatility you need to record and track donations as a sales receipt or a deposit.  I'd be happy to give you some insight!

 

Once you've set up an account to track the donated funds, you'll need to set up a donation item.  If you receive the donation immediately, you can create a sales receipt, or if you're just recording the funds, create a bank deposit instead.  Then you'll be able to print your donor receipts. Here's a helpful guide for your reference, to print donor receipts in QuickBooks Online.
