Question

Can you change the time of day that automatic/recurring invoices are sent out to clients?

Hello,

I've noticed that QBO always sends my automatic/recurring invoices out to clients at an ungodly hour of anytime between about 1-4am MST. Because of this, some clients often swipe away the notification of an invoice then forget and I get overdue invoices because of that. I've also received some feedback from customers that are quite annoyed that I would send them invoices so late. Is there a way to change this so that it sends them say in the afternoon instead of the wee hours of the morning?

Thanks!

Theresa

Hi TekyBookkeper82,

Welcome back to Community!  I can understand your point and how having recurring invoices sent to your customers in the very early hours can offset anyone's day.  Not only affecting your customers, but also receiving payment when the reminder's have been removed after your customers swipe the notification away.  In QuickBooks Online, this feature has default settings for which there's no option to make changes from your end.  I'd suggest reaching out to our Development Team and provide a recommendation for having this option available in the near future.

Please feel free to reach back out with any other questions.  We'd be happy to help!
