Can you sync to QuickBooks Online

Hi, we are thinking of getting QuickBooks online and was wondering since we are using QuickBooks Desktop, are you able to automatically sync QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks because we use QuickBooks Desktop as our main QuickBooks software and we are wanting to use QuickBooks Online so that our Site managers will have access to QuickBooks Online app and see all the progress for the jobs that they are working on that is entered into QuickBooks Desktop

I appreciate you reaching out here, in regards to syncing QuickBooks Desktop with QuickBooks Online.  I can see how beneficial this would be for your site managers to easily review customer jobs, and watch as they progress.  However, this function currently isn't available.  Although you can migrate your QuickBooks Desktop data to a new QuickBooks Online company, it's important to understand how features and data are moved.  Click here to review our comprehensive guide to moving your data to QuickBooks Online.  Once the data has been successfully transferred, you can import data to QuickBooks Online.

You should stick with QB Desktop and implement a simple private cloud as a workaround. Your site managers (and other remote users) will be able to access your QB file in multiuser mode over the internet.
