Changing the Year End Date

the company’s year end is Nov 30 2022 (in simply). We switched over to QB in February but the previous accountant had year end set to Dec 31. Is

it safe to switch the year end to Nov 30 in account settings, or will that have an impact anything?

Changing the year end date wont affect any data. Changing the date will only affect the dates in the reports. However, I recommend speaking with an accounting professional or associate. They'll be able to guide you and ensure your books remain accurate. Having an accountant can be beneficial for you and your business. You can add your accountant to your books by going to the My Accountant tab in your QuickBooks account. You can also find an accountant who has experience with QuickBooks near you by clicking the Find a professional to help you option in this section.
