Construction Equipment - tracking usage

We are an excavation company.  We need to track time for equipment usage.  Ultimately we would need to associate the cost of a machine per hour against time used for a customer/project.  The system was set up to have the equipment entered under Other name list and time used daily gets entered in Use Weekly Time sheets.  I can run the time for a project but not by machine and not with a cost associated with it.   Is there a way to run a report to show time and cost?  Or is there a better way to track the hours each piece of equipment is used as pertains to a job?

Once you figure out your per-hour cost for each machine, I would create a billing item under your sales for each machine/cost type.  Then you can simply enter the hours, and it will add the cost to your invoice.
