Copy, past , cut and undo keyboard shortcuts are not working On Desktop

Hi There,

 

I have  QB 2013 installed on my desktop. Today it asked me to update the software. After updating the software, it did restart the PC.  And when I tried to use it, I found out that the key board shortcuts for copy,past,cut, undo etc.  are not working. First I thought its because of a keyboard. After changes keyboard the issue is still alive. Since, we use the QB on multi user mode, I checked out on other user's PC and it working there. 

Is there any setting I have to enable, or what?

Please help me put with this.

Hello SK56,

 

It's awesome that you're still able to use QuickBooks Desktop 2013 for your business! I'll do what I can to help you sort this out. As an unsupported product, there may be some issues that can't be remedied because it's old. All the same, I've got a couple troubleshooting tips you can try.

 

The first troubleshooting step I have is to restart your computer. It's great that you took a look at your keyboard setup to make sure that was all good. Restarting the computer after the update is another great way to make sure things are all in place in terms of functionality.

 

If that doesn't work, the next step is to try uninstalling and reinstalling QuickBooks Desktop. Only do this, however, if you still have the CD or install files handy for when you need to reinstall. At Intuit Canada, we only have the install links for the most recent three years of the product, so without those, you won't be able to reinstall.

 

Otherwise, this may simply be something related to the age of the program. Feel free to look at upgrade options if you'd like. If you call in, our phone support team can assist with the upgrade as well! When you're using a supported version of the product, our support teams are able to work with you to make sure the program is functioning properly.
