My transactions are being recorded showing a wrong date (one day earlier than the real date) , the date in the calendar is correct though, how can I correct this glitch?

Thanks!

Hi there,

It's important that your account is showing the correct transaction date. I'll be happy to look into this and give you a hand.

Based on what you've described, I'm suspecting you've got your bank connected and when the transactions sync, they're syncing with the wrong date. If that's the case, it's important to note that some transaction downloads are delayed at times but QuickBooks will always record the date it gets from your bank. Since you're getting the wrong date, let's proceed with troubleshooting this.

First, I'd like to start off by doing some troubleshooting to determine if this isn't a browser related issue. When was the last time you cleared cache and cookies on your browser? Doing this will help fix most issues the site may be having. Here's an article which shows you how to do that: How to clear Cache and Cookies.

In order to correct wrong dates on a transaction, please follow these steps:

  1. On the left pane, select Accounting.
  2. In the Chart of Accounts section, find the bank.
  3. In the ACTION column, click Account history
  4. Select the transaction.
  5. On the Receive Payment window, change the Payment date
  6. Click Save and close
  7. Click Yes to confirm.

Give this a try and if you're still having issues, I recommend contacting our support team using this link.
