Custom Estimate Templates

I created a customer Estimate template and marked it as my "Default". But, when I click "+New" and select Estimate, it defaults to the standard Quickbooks template. If I choose "Customize" on the bottom and select my template, it does not change. I've tried refreshing, logging out and back in again, etc. Nothing.

It's great to hear that you're taking advantage of the Custom form styles feature in QuickBooks Online to help your business stand out. Setting your new style as the default is a quick and easy way to make sure you're using the style you want each time, and I want to make sure that this is working in your books.

 

The first thing to note is that the page where you fill out the details for your estimate will always appear the same and won't match the custom style. It's when you click Print or Preview that you should be seeing your new style in action. If that's where you mean the old style is sticking around, I recommend starting with some troubleshooting.

 

The steps below are designed to determine if something in your cache or something with your Internet is causing troubles for QuickBooks. Since you just changed the style, the cache could be in play here, hanging onto old data rather than giving you the new display you're looking for. Try these steps and after each one, see if the form is still the old one.
