Hi Mayakay,

It's so great to hear that you're taking advantage of all that QuickBooks Online has to offer, especially when it comes to customizing your sales forms. Using custom templates help you include what's important to you and your business, and it's a great way to reflect your company brand. I'd be happy to explain how to add additional columns on your custom templates.

Custom form styles in QuickBooks Online are available for Invoices, Estimates, and Sales Receipts. Here's an awesome article that will explain the customization options and how to design your template: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online

You're able to add up to 8 columns on your sales forms. I'll explain how to re-name certain columns if you'd like to change them from the default labels in QBO.

1. Click the Gear icon.

2. Select Custom Form Styles.

3. Click New Style and select your template type.

4. Click the Content tab from the top menu bar.

5. Select the middle section of the template.

6. In the Columns section, check off all the columns you'd like to include. If you want to re-name some of the columns, select EDIT LABELS AND WIDTHS.

7. Label the columns however you'd like, then click Done

That's all there is to it! At this time, 8 columns is the maximum number of columns you're able to use in QBO. If you need more than 8 columns and this is something you'd like to see incorporated in QBO in the future, we'd love it if you could submit your feedback for our product development team. You can do so by clicking the Gear icon > Feedback

In your question you mention that you'd like to see additional information displayed on each line item of your form. Consider including this information in the Description column to show those details. If you have any other questions, please reach out to our tech support team

Cheers!
