Customer Information History

We have a customer who had an incorrect shipping address entered, and it was changed, but not before an order shipped to an incorrect address.

Is there a way to see who entered the incorrect address, and who changed it, and when? Are we able to view the history of what has changed in the account, who changed it, and when?

Hello cwoodatleftcoasttee,

We love seeing new members reaching out in the QuickBooks Community to expand their product knowledge. When you have several people making entries, it can be challenging to know who created which entries. QuickBooks Online makes this easy for you because each user has their own user ID. When transactions are changed, they are recorded in the system with the user ID that made the change. Let me explain where you can find this information.

To view the changes that have been made in your QuickBooks Online account, you go to the Gear Icon and then select Audit log. You can click the filter button for the options for filtering transactions to narrow down your search. You can find more details on utilizing the records in this article: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any questions, you can always reach back out. I'm here to help. Take care.
