Dark Mode for Windows/PC

Even something like the colour scheme of the software you're using can make a difference, so I can see why this would be on your mind. While there isn't a dark mode available for QuickBooks Desktop, it is possible to change the look of the program when you use particular company files. I'd be happy to show you the steps to change things up.

Changing the colour scheme for a company file in QuickBooks Desktop is just a few easy steps and gives you the option to work with an interface you like or perhaps you could even colour code your company files to more easily tell which you're working in. Here's how you can see the options available.

1. Select Edit in the upper menu.
2. Choose Preferences.
3. Click Desktop View in the left menu.
4. Find the Company File Colour Scheme section on the My Preferences tab.
5. Choose from the available colours to preview the colour.
6. Click OK to save.
