Is it possible to have multiple templates for an invoice and to specify which users use which template?

Thanks for reaching out here.  I can see how you'd benefit from multiple invoice templates and the ability to assign them to specific users.  QuickBooks Online is a versatile program with enhanced features for your bookkeeping needs.  I'd be glad to assist!

 

You can use location tracking for different outlets or departments of the company and view all transactions for each.  This is available in QuickBooks Online Plus.  If you need to upgrade your subscription and enjoy the benefits of this feature go to the Gear in the top right > Account and settings > Billing and Subscription.  Click on the 'Upgrade' link and follow the steps to complete the action.

 

With regards to the invoices, you can create customized forms and select between them when making an invoice by clicking on Customize at the bottom of the page.  This will show a list of the available templates or you can create a new one.  The templates are accessible to users depending on their role and access rights.
