Do CRA really create problems for Bookkeeper outside North America in a Canadian Business

Hello There!!
I will describe the problem as straight as possible. I am a Bookkeeper currently living outside Canada and have been working for a Canadian client. Recently he told me that CRA creates problems for him because of Login from outside North American region. Is it a new QBO update?

Is there really any rule there? Please enlighten me regarding the issue.
