Do we need a mobile phone to comply with the MFA for QBO Payroll?
The notification that MFA for QBO Payroll is being released this month (QBO Canada). "It is a way to verify your identity by sending a unique one-time password to the mobile number associated with your account."
What if there is no mobile number that can be associated with our account? Can the MFA be used with a regular phone? There is no text option on the phone associated with the business as it goes to an auto-attendant so that callers can select the extension needed based on the menu and get directed to the appropriate person within the business?
