Hello,

I had the QB Self Employed and my subscription expired recently. How do I download mileage reports, invoices and receipts stored before expiration?

Hi.
Thanks for letting me know that I would need to resubscribe to use the app. However, could you confirm that the old data will be available?

Hi FDO_O,

When a QuickBooks account becomes inactive, you will continue to have 'read-only' access to your account for one year from the date of cancellation.  This provides you with the opportunity to reactivate your account, or access any other data that you may need.  Your company data will remain in your account for one year, then it will be permanently deleted.  I'll add a couple of helpful guides to assist you with exporting your data.

Export receipts from QuickBooks Self-Employed

Export mileage info from QuickBooks Self-Employed

Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online

Should you require additional assistance, please don't hesitate to QuickBooks Self-Employed support.

Touch base with us again, if you have other questions.  We would be glad to help!

Hi there,

Welcome to the Community. I'll be happy to steer you in the right direction so you can export your reports using QB Self-Employed.

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. In QuickBooks Self-Employed, go to the Reports menu.
  2. Find the report you want to download.
  3. Select the time period or tax year from the dropdown.
  4. Select View or Download.
  5. Select the arrow icon ▼ and then the Print or Download.

Feel free to check out the following article with more info on how to: Export transactions and get reports in QuickBooks Self-Employed

Let me know if this info helps. I'll be a message away in case you have other questions.

Hi,

thank you for your quick response. However, your suggestion would probably work if my subscription is not expired as there is no option for reports when I log in, instead it asks to restart a new subscription or fix billing problems. See screenshot attached.

Thanks for reaching back out, FDO_O.

At this time, you have "Read-only" access. If you'd like to be able to continue working in your QuickBooks account, you'll need to follow the steps to resubscribe.

Feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions.
