Duplicate Bank Transactions after Reconnecting Account

There was recently an issue with QB connecting with TD Online Banking.  QB advised me the issue had been resolved and to disconnect, then re-connect the bank account.  This resulted in a great many duplicate transactions in my bank feed.  Is there an easy way to resolve this?  Or do I have to sift through all 10 pages and manually identify every duplicate, then exclude it? I am hoping there is a better way!!

Hello liisakaybee,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I'm happy to learn you're using the program to help manage your transactions. Rest assured, I'll guide you in the right direction so you can delete duplicate transactions.

You can delete duplicate transactions by selecting them in the Categorized tab in the Banking/Transactions menu. From here, click on Undo so the transactions can return to the For Review tab. You can proceed with Excluding the transactions from the For Review page so they're deleted from the account. It's important to note that you'll have to manually select the transactions in order to delete them. Otherwise, I recommend looking into using a third-party app that offers extensive options when it comes to transaction management in QuickBooks. You can search for these apps on our app store www.apps.com

In the meantime, feel free to ask other questions. I'm here to guide you on the right path.
