I have updated and now I am unable to email an invoice.  I have run the QB Tool hub already as well.  When I try to email it sends me to a window telling me to log in with google.  I try to hit next but then QB tells me that my browser is not secure and I should "refresh".  I have done this several times and am still unable to email invoices????

Hi ConnieD,

QuickBooks Desktop was made to help you save time and sending customer invoices through email is a great way to do just that. I'd be happy to help you get your email synced again.

Recently Google implemented a new update for added security. This update has caused a bit of issue when trying to connect using products like QuickBooks Desktop but no worries, we have a fix for this. In order to connect to gmail you will need to follow the steps in this article. Once you follow those steps you just need to reconnect your QuickBooks Desktop again by following these steps.

  1. Go to the QuickBooks Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. Select Send Forms.
  3. Select the existing email and click Delete
  4. Select Web Mail and Add.
  5. Select your provider from the drop-down and enter your email address.
  6. Uncheck the box Use Enhanced Security

Once you add the email again you will be prompted to log into google. This only happens on the first email and afterwards your emails will go through without issue.

Hope this was able to help!
