Enter TO save Transaction Not Working

I use QB Desktop and I used to be able to click "ENTER" and save the transaction, now all of a sudden- I have to manually click on SAVE. IS there a way to fix this so it worked like it did before.

Welcome to Community!  I can understand the benefit of being able to hit 'Enter', to save your work quickly, rather than having to save it manually.  QuickBooks Desktop provides the features you need, to accomplish your tasks seamlessly.  I would be glad to assist!

 

I suggest checking your preferences to see if the Enter key is activated for navigation.  Here's how;

 

1. From the menu bar, select Edit, then Preferences

2. Select the General tab, then My preferences

3. Checkmark the box to Press enter to move between fields.

 

If you experience the same result, I recommend running Quick Fix my Program from the QuickBooks Tools Hub.
