Question

Error: DistributedCachedList.getObj.NotFound. I have cleared my cache and cookies. After I purged my QBO account, I cannot edit, delete, or pay my active employees.

I can create new employees and pay them. How can I edit/fix the active employees created before the purge?

Hello gswhang,

I know how useful the purge option is for users just getting started with QuickBooks Online when you'd like to reset everything to zero. I hope it's helped you clear up any issues with the rest of your books, and I can help you with tackling this payroll problem so you can get back to using that feature.

Typically, the feature that allows you to delete your QuickBooks Online data and start over at zero doesn't impact QuickBooks Online Payroll because it's an add-on service. Because of that, the data you entered into payroll shouldn't have been deleted or affected by the process. Since you're seeing an error, however, it sounds like there may be some sort of syncing issue in the back-end.

The easiest way to address this will be by pulling up your account in the Intuit system so that we can review the details from our end. Please reach out to our support team using one of the options below, which gives us the chance to securely exchange account details with you and look into this.

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

When you get in touch, feel free to share that error message again as well as other details you think will help us get to the bottom of this. If you're not sure what will help, that's okay too! Our team is trained to ask the right questions to get the information that will help us out. We've got you covered.
