Error Importing Journal Entries in to QBO

Hello,

I am able to upload a .csv file with 16 Journal entries.

However I keep receiving an error "You must also click Save again to make this change that is prior to the closing date."

So I have removed the PASSWORD requirement via Company/Advanced. It is set to "allow after warning"

But I still get the same error no matter what I try.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's nice to see you here in the Community, @Boloman28.

I can see how the message you're receiving is slowing down that process. QuickBooks Online option for importing journal entries is designed to make data entry simpler. I'm grateful that you shared the conversation you experienced, and I'll help resolve this.

I'm not seeing any reports of this error right now, so I'd like to start with troubleshooting. I recommend clearing the cache on your browser before proceeding with importing the journal entries.  If you experience the same outcome, try another browser such as Safari, Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Private or Incognito. Make sure you're using a supported browser and system

If the issue persists, the next step is to contact QuickBooks Online support. You can follow these steps how:

  1. Click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online
  2. Enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation
  3. Tick Let's Talk > choose to Get a callback or Start a Chat.

Another area to check if you haven't is the column formatting of the document. The Prep your spreadsheet section of the Import journal entries in QuickBooks Online can help with that.

I'll be right here if you need further assistance with importing journal entries and other things in QuickBooks. Just leave a comment below. Have a nice day!
