How can I add tips/gratuities to my payroll run.  Is there a workaround so that I can add the tips to the paycheques

Hello joanneforsyth,

 

Great news! You can add the tips by going to the employee's profile. I'll guide you through how. 

  1. Click Workers.
  2. Click Employees.
  3. Click the employee's name. Then, click Edit employee.
  4. Click the Pencil icon under How much do you pay Employee? section.
  5. Mark the box next to Cash tips or Pay cheque tips. Select Pay cheque tips if you need to pay the tips to your employee. Select Cash tips if you only need to report the amount to tax as income.
  6. Click Done.

Once done, you can add the tip amount when running payroll.
