Question

Has anyone imported their transactions, accepted them all, reconciled and then gone back into banking and all the transactions are there still?

Hi ctmc,

Welcome to Community!  Having your financial institution connected to your QuickBooks Online account, is one of the many exceptional features to help you complete your daily tasks effortlessly.  However, given your situation with the transactions appearing in the banking section after you've reconciled the account, is not the expected behavior or outcome and happens when transactions have been duplicated.  I'd be glad to help you clear these up.

You can exclude the duplicate transactions in one batch.  Here's how:

1. From the left menu select Banking or Transactions, then open the Banking tab

2. Select the For Review tab

3. Checkbox the transactions to exclude

4. Hit Exclude

This moves all of the transactions to the Excluded tab and you can undo this if needed.  Just open the Excluded tab > checkbox the transactions > select Undo.  The transactions will return to the For Review tab.  You can also choose to permanently Delete the transactions, although this isn't recommended as once they've been deleted you can't bring them back unless you manually recreate them.

Please feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions.  We're always glad to help!
