Hi, I'm trying to download transactions from the account history, but the excel is missing the description part, how do I change it?

Hey chenb, 

 

Importing a bank file is the best way to make sure all of your transactions are recorded in QuickBooks Online. There's no limit to the time range you can bring in, and any excel file can easily be edited and saved as a CSV. The banking tab accepts files including dates, descriptions, and amounts so you can be sure you'll have all the info you need.

 

For help customizing the file, I'd recommend contacting your bank first. Most institutions allow you to customize exported files, so they'll be able to further assist you in saving time. Alternatively, feel free to edit the file in your favourite spreadsheet software with the acceptable format.
