Hi ! Is there a way to NOT display sub totals by client / project on the invoice template?

Customizing is the name of the game and QuickBooks Online gives you a lot of options to do just that. I can help go over this with you.

QuickBooks Online allows you to customize your invoices to include the information you wish to show using your templates. In order to customize them you'll need to go to Gear>Customize form styles>New style. From there you can select which type of form you want to customize. At this time the Subtotal line is not one that you can remove. If you wish to have this feature added in the future I recommend reaching out to our developers and letting them know. 

 You can submit feedback to them by following these steps.

1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

Once our developers receive the feedback they will look into ways they can add this to future updates.
