Hi QBO community, Can any one help me with our problem on getting updates from our BMO and Servus credit cards? They are not updating as expected. Thanks!

Both BMO and Servus synced the first time they were linked to QBO. But after that, no more updates came. What should we do? Thanks!

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

I'm here to ensure you can get your BMO and Servus credit card transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO), Helen.

 

If you haven't yet, we can manually update your bank's connection to QBO to start downloading transactions again. Here's how:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks account.
  2. Go to the Transactions menu, then select Bank transactions.
  3. Click Update.


     
  4. If asked, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Then select Continue update.

 

If the issue persists, the problem may be on your bank's end. To verify this, sign in to both of your banks' websites and check for possible bank maintenance or any of the following:

 

  1. Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  2. Look for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  3. Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.

 

Meanwhile, you may consider uploading your transactions manually to QuickBooks Online. To avoid duplicates, make sure to know the data of the old existing transaction by reviewing your account history

 

In case you still encounter duplicates, you can exclude them to keep your books accurate. Once everything is good, you'll need to review and categorize them to enhance the efficiency of your business's financial management.
