Hi @lend604

it is great to see that you have reached out to the community for some assistance. We are more than happy to help.

Yes, you can! However, the ability to enter historical payroll information is only available for the current calendar year and there are no paychecks created for the employee(s) yet.

Here's how:

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), go to the Workers menu at the left pane to get to the Employees page.
  2. Select the employee to open the information, then Enter prior pay details
  3. Enter the necessary information.

For more information about the process, consider checking out this article: Set up a prior payroll.

On the other hand, if you already have paychecks created, I highly suggest contacting our Payroll Support team. They have the tools that can help you enter the information. Here's how to reach them:

  1. Click the Help (question mark) icon at the top right.
  2. Select Contact Us at the bottom to connect with our live support.

If you need some extra help, please reach out back.

Hi lend604.

Verifying your payroll is correct is the cornerstone of good bookkeeping and keeping your accounts correct. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for this.

QuickBooks Online Payroll Add-on lets you save time by doing the calculations itself. In order to make changes to your payroll it needs to be the last paycheque you made. If you made any after that time frame you'd need to contact our support team so they can put through a pay edit request to get that information changed. You can get in touch with our support team using one of the following methods.

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

Social MediaFacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
Support hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.

Have a great one!
