Question

How can I make bank accounts display in the order I want in the dashboard and the banking panel, since every time I change and save it, it reverts to another order?

Hi there,

Customizing the look and feel of your QuickBooks account is a great idea! Everyone has different preferences, and it's important that you're able to display your banking information in the order of your choosing. I'll help explain how you can change the display order of the bank accounts on your dashboard.

The order in which your bank accounts are displayed in the dashboard can be changed quickly and easily. Follow these steps to do so:

1. Click the Dashboard tab on the left menu.

2. Next to the box for Bank Accounts, click the small pencil icon to edit.

3. Click the small box icon, and click and drag the accounts to the order of your choosing.

4. Click Save

The Bank Feed will display the accounts in the order in which they've been connected to QuickBooks Online. The accounts that are connected first will appear on the left, and subsequent accounts will appear to the right. I think having the option to change the order of these accounts would be really helpful in order to have quick access to the accounts you use most. I'd be happy to pass along this feedback to our engineering team for review. We're always looking for new ways to make QuickBooks easy-to-use.

If you've customized the dashboard settings and you're not seeing the changes being saved between logins, try clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser. These are the stored Internet files that can build up over time and bog you down. Here's how to clear them from your browser: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

That should help ensure your edits are saved.

If you have any other questions, just let me know. I'm here to help.

Cheers!
