Hey bookeeper2,

QuickBooks Online is designed to simplify your accounting and save you time, so you can focus on growing your business. One of the best ways to enhance this even further is by using the automation features included. You can easily populate new transactions automatically based on historical information, or simply save them as a template for future use. I'll be happy to guide you through this.

Basic automation features are managed with your company settings. It's just a few easy steps to activate them:

  1. Click on the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab and find the Automation section.
  3. Activate features as needed.
  4. Click Save then Done.

Memorizing or copying a journal entry is just as simple:

  1. Open the journal entry in question.
  2. To copy: Click More at the bottom and choose Copy.
  3. To save as a template: Click Make recurring (choose Unscheduled makes it easy to use at any time).

I've got your back. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
