How do I add a vendor/contractor to our Time app so we can track their time?

Thanks for turning to the QuickBooks Community for support! Being able to track your vendors/contractors time correctly is important. I would be happy to provide some information that will get you back on track.

In order for you to be able to track your contractor/vendors time, would be to add them as a tracking user only. Follow the steps below to get started.

1. Go to Settings and select Manage users.
2. Select Add user.
3. Select Time tracking only.
4. Select Next.
5. Find the employee or supplier you want to add, select Next, then enter their contact info.
6. Select Save.

Once added, the user can now enter hours in a timesheet.

If you require further assistance, I recommend reaching out to the support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to verify your account details in a secure setting, as well as view your screen to guide you in getting back to your QuickBooks goals.
