Question

How do I change company address on T4s. My T4 Summ shows good address but T4s show old address. I changed Company, Customer facing, & Legal addresses in Account Settings?

I have changed the company address in Account Settings, the Company, Customer facing and Legal addresses are all the same. But T4 Summ shows new address and T4s show old address????

Hi userdwilliamsca,

 

Welcome to Community!  It's important that your T4 slips are accurate in QuickBooks Online, in keeping with government guidelines.  I'd be glad to help!

 

In addition to ensuring your Company address and legal address is correct in your QuickBooks Online settings, you'll also want to update them in the QuickBooks Online Payroll feature.  Here's how;

 

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Payroll settings

2. Click on the Edit ✎ for the General taxes section

3. Make the necessary updates and hit Save

That should do it!

that did not work. the address in payroll settings had already been changed. The employee T4s still have the old address.

Hi userdwilliamsca,

 

Thanks for getting back to us here.  Let's take a look at the employee profiles to confirm the work location, by following these steps;

 

1. Open Payroll and then Employees

2. Select an Employee and hit Edit to the right of Employment details

3. Use the ▼ dropdown to select the Work location

4. Hit Save
