How do I change Company name and Company ID in Self-Employed?

For some reason, my company name is "Northern Health" under Products & Billing which I'm guessing was autofilled somewhere during the registration process as it is my former employer. My company name is actually D Rigo Media but I cannot find any option to change that name?

It's good to have you here in the QuickBooks Community! I can share some insights on how you can update your information in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

QBSE is designed to keep things simple. The company name on your profile is the account name used when you first set up your Intuit account with us. You can update it in the About you subsection of the settings through the Gear icon.

 

If you're referring to the company name on the invoice, click the Edit work info option at the bottom of an invoice. This will bring up a side-panel, where you can change the information your customer sees on the invoice sent to them. From there, you can enter the details you need to update. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Invoices tab.
  2. Take Create Invoice.
  3. Select the Edit work info link.
  4. From there, update the Name field with the desired description.
  5. Click Save. See the images below.

 

Regarding the company ID, are you referring to your tax numbers or your account number in QBSE, any information will help.
