How do I change the begining balance during reconcile?

I think it could be the last time I didn't reconcile correctly so now the begining balance is not correct, which makes it impossible to do the next reconcile jobs, I am wondering how can I correct the begining balance resulted from the last finished reconcile?

Hi Exporter1000,

 

Reconciling your accounts in QuickBooks online, ensures your books are accurate and up-to-date.  When the opening balance doesn't match your bank statement, you can edit the information from the reconciliation page.  Here's how;

 

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Reconcile.

2. In the reconciliation window, select Edit info.

3. Check your bank statement. 

4. Review the Ending balance and Ending date.

 

Should you note any discrepancies, the best course of action is to undo the previous reconciliation.  Please note that only an accountant user can undo a reconciliation by following these steps.  If you don't have an accountant, we can help you locate a ProAdvisor in your local area.
