I can guide you through the process of exporting journal entry data with memo information in QuickBooks Online (QBO). mnyombi2001

First, we'll have to generate a Journal Report then customize it to fit your needs.

Here's how to do it if you're using the modern view:

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu.
  2. Search for the Journal report.
  3. Set the desired Report period.
  4. Under the Columns tab, make sure that the Line description is ticked.

  5. In the Filter tab, set: Transaction TypeEquals Journal Entry.
  6. Once done, click the Export button in the upper right corner.

If you're using the Classic View:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Search for and open the Journal report.
  3. Select the Report period.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. Under the Rows/Columns section, ensure the Memo/Description is checked.
  6. In the Filter drop-down tick the Transaction Type, and select Journal Entry.

  7. Once done, hit Run report.
  8. Click the Export button next to the Gear icon on the report screen.

This export will include the Memo information with other journal entry details such as Date, Account, Debit, and Credit.
